India VS Pakistan Match in Dubai | ICC Champions Trophy 2025

Now, time for some updates from the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy. India has taken back control of the match in Dubai after Saud Shakeel and captain Mohammad Rizwan steadied their innings.

Opting to bat first, Pakistan made another slow start. Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq, Fakar Zaman's injury replacement, struggled to find the boundaries as the defending champions crawled to 37 runs in eight overs. Both openers were then returned to the pavilion in the next two overs. Hardik Pandya dismissed Babar Azam for 23, while Imam was run out by Axar Patel.

Rizwan and Shakeel then started the rebuilding process, but they, too, found it difficult to score runs. Between overs 16 and 24, Pakistan did not hit a boundary for 45 balls. The pair added 104 runs for the third wicket before Patel removed Rizwan for 46. Shakeel, too, was dismissed shortly after for 62, leaving Pakistan in a spot of bother.
